“Moisturized hair is protected hair”

Wonder Curl was created out of personal need for natural hair products that simply did what they said, used quality ingredients and improved on the health of the hair.

Founder, Scarlett Rocourt, a Haitian immigrant and plant-based vegan, developed Wonder Curl because she wanted better control of her thick, unruly curls. After trying several products on the market, only to be disappointed, she set out to create her own products. She wanted to make the perfect hair gel; it had to define the curls, dry weightless, be anti-humidity and keep curls feeling conditioned.

She wanted to use ingredients that were known to nourish our hair, not just make it look good. She started researching different oils and butters and creating her own versions of creams and gels. She imagined what she wanted the product to look like and how it would benefit the hair.

Wonder Curl aims to provide our customers with the best products that will improve the texture of their hair, as well as allow them to enhance their natural curl patter while achieving any hairstyle they want.

We streamlined the styling process by taking the guesswork out of what products to use and when. You only need two products to achieve any look that you want, and your style will last days without needing to refresh or restyle.

Our packaging

With the realization that we are virtually drowning in plastic, it was paramount that we found a suitable alternative for our jars that were lightweight and eco-friendly. The black jar is made from 100% recycled industrial resin.

By using jars made from recycled materials, we are helping to reuse the plastic that is already out in the universe rather than adding more plastic. Our simple, black labels are a reflection of our clean ingredients and values for minimalism.
